As reported by ANN, Viz is partnering with World Bank to produce a new multi-volume series called "1 World Manga." It has a typical premise (the main character is a boy who wants to become the greatest fighter in the world, etc.) but will also touch on serious, realistic problems like AIDS and poverty. Proceeds will be donated to charity.
