A surprise announcement came from ADV this weekend: they have discontinued the 24/7 linear channel. Their letter apologizes and suggests that fans make use of their new online streaming service. As anyone who has campaigned to get access to their 24/7 channel in the past knows, getting these stations onto local cable networks is quite a challenge. Presumably ADV has decided to focus more on its Internet offerings, seeing as they are instantly accessible to everyone (or at least, to everyone ADV wants it to be).
