ADV has licensed 5cm Per Second: A Chain of Short Stories About Their Distance. This movie, made up of three linked vignettes, is the latest major work from rising director Makoto Shinkai (Voices of a Distant Star, The Place Promised in Our Early Days). 5cm will have a theatrical release of some kind before hitting DVD in December.
