And just using the SM reference to wander off the subject (somebody had
to, since Dave bit the troll-bait, and is sinking further into
trademark-loopiness without noticing):
I`ll admit, the show`s shard-of-the-week "magical girl" concept kind of
came out of left field for some of us still trying to get their
bearings, if not for Duck`s "Usagi factor" (ie. of being a
sympathetically scene-stealing klutz) keeping the show from what
could`ve otherwise been an insufferably artsy-stylized Utena--
But is it just me, or does that also end up making Tutu`s MOTW climaxes
seem like one of Sailor Moon`s "Turn the baddie good" story-arc finales,
as choreographed by the Kirov?:
"Stay away! <pirouette> You won`t interfere with my plans! <turn,
ecarte` pose>"
"But look into your heart <en pointe>...Can`t you see you`re hurting
everyone with this? <plie`, grand leap>"
